“Wild World” is a feel good anthem with a message for listeners to accept life changes as they come. Over uplifting acoustic chords, and hypnotizing melodies, Tanisha reminds us to keep pushing forward.
S.L. chops it up about his journey and more with Chedo + plugs his show coming up on the 26th at The Mod Club.
And yeah, a Sean Leon show is an experience, still!
This week we have Toronto artist Sean Leon as our guest. Aside from rapping he is also a visual artist, dabbling in the arts of film-making and directing. He started out in 2013 with the release of his first mixtape “Ninelevenne, the Tragedy,” which featured production by Jordan Evans who also worked on Drake’s “Nothing Was the Same.” He had a second mixtape release in 2014, and started releasing singles up until 2016 with the release of his album “I Think You’ve Gone Mad Or (The Sins Of The Father)” which featured production by Wondagurl.
Sean Leon takes us through the lowest points in his career, his thoughts on promoting mental health in the black community, and destructing black masculinity. We discuss that and more in our interview with the “hungry” artist. Below is an excerpt from our talk, play the podcast to hear more.
Each and every Wednesday we’ll be uploading a brand new interview with a guest we feel that you should know about. If you love podcasts subscribe at the options below.
