Completely missed this when it dropped earlier this year (my sincerest apologies Keysha), but definitely worth putting up now.
Vanity is a 8 track EP, with production from J Reid (credits : A-Game, P Reign, Freddie Gibbs, Zeyon, Ciara, Ryan Leslie and Skeme) and Ace from Tha Cirkus. Keysha reunites with Toronto producer Gunna (who was responsible for producing her first hit “Hollywood Fresh”) on the first single off of Vanity, called “Rewind, Undo”.
“It’s always love working with Steph J, hes one of my favorite people to work with period. He gets things done, he wants a good product, hes not afraid to tell me no, or lets try something different, I learn from him” – explains Keysha.
Features include Toronto up and comer Steph J, on “See nobody” and songstress Tanisha on the title track “Vanity”, both records produced by Ace.”Im not a vain person at all, but if I were to be, this would be it. I say a lot of things that I was either afraid to before or things I just didn’t think people wanted to hear” – Keysha
Toronto native, Keysha Freshh releases a viral video as she rhymes over the classic Hi-tek produced, Blackstar’s “Definition”. The first part to a 4 part series, was shot and edited by Ashley Iris to generate promotion for Keysha’s latest project “Vanity”.

First introduction to YTK.
Toronto collective YTK (Yonge Toronto Kids) release their first single together, “Say Somethin'” produced by J Reid.
Made up of 3 young Toronto kids (no pun), Keysha (formerly Keysha Freshh), Steph J (Wrap party, La Complex, Degrassi, Home Again), and Jimmy B (Starboro x Smashmouth).
“YTK is Steph j, Keysha and myself we just young toronto kids focused on making good music and staying positive” explains Jimmy.
“YTK is a common ground. We come together, we make music. We share the same vision and passion. We all do our individual thing, so when we do collaborate we try to make it big, video and everything…if you get what I’m saying [laugh]” describes Keysha.
“Ytk, above anything is the voice for a whole generation of kids from where we come from, toronto” says Steph J.
When asked about the recording process with the three of them:
“Say Somethin’ was easy to do, workin’ with jimmy and keysh is always turnt up. We have nun but fun. we give and take to and from each other to make good music thats speaks to our peers” -Steph J
“The recordin’ process was dope everyone came with their A game and whenever we all get in the studio you know its something dope” – Jimmy
“I think we just have fun. We feed off each other, like we vibe out. Like some rugrats… We turn everything into this big adventure and we just have fun, and I think you can feed off of that when you hear the finished product” – KeyshaLINK: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGct-z_OjB8&list=UUILKRzeBStvkG_rafTyr7Sg&index=1 Attached is the MP3
