“I wrote ‘Shy Cry’ at a time when I felt happiness was not attainable. I felt it was easier to be complacent than to be happy. My surroundings continued to prove and remind me that the ‘straight’ way was the easier way. I wrote this song as a cry for help to myself because when it came down to it, only I was in charge of my actions. Freedom was what I was constantly searching for. Freedom from myself. If it wasn’t for this song and every other song on Unbuttoned’s new album, I’m not sure when or how I would’ve gotten to the position I am today…if I knew then what I know now, decisions I have made in the past would likely be a lot different.”

With various label interest, fellow Toronto rapper Drake taking notice on his record ‘The Rewind’ and a recent connection to “No I.D” while out in Los Angeles, the future looks great as Luu is planning his release of his next project.With his past success working with the likes of Toronto’s homegrown talent such as Boi1da, T-Minus, Megaman and Wondagurl, as well as a placement on the Game’s Gold record: R.E.D for the Boi1da produced ‘All I Know’ – Luu has already set the groundwork. Luu Breeze is slated as arguably Toronto’s next to blow and he plans to show and prove with his next body of work –‘Remember What You Said’.

The track is Schoolboy Q’s favourite off the album and features Wu-Tang’s Raekwon over hypnotic drums and riveting chord progressions.
