Never been a huge Swollen fan but always respected the grind and the movement.

Canadian rap group Swollen Members stopped by Sway in the Morning to promote their new album Brand New Day. The group also discussed their new single “Power.” Madchild went on explain his tattoos and their connection to the Battleaxe Warriors Movement and children. Late summer 2010 I got the pleasure of filmming Fatski @Earthwater Arts and his family on a green screen in the Manifesto studio. If you know Mr Ski then you know it is next to impossible to flag this man down or schedule him for anything so I saw the opportunity as a privilege and it was an amazing shoot and a pleasure getting to meet his family. I then spent the last 3+ years with my extremely talented brother Add Knot working on the compositing and special effects for this beast working in 3 or 4 sessions a year. This is was a %100 a complete passion project and there was zero $$$ put into this project. As the anniversary of my birth roles around again the lyrics resonate with me even more than they did 3+ years ago.

 

This project was also made up of a bigger project which LaPointe Pro was a part of doing the another remix version
