If you haven’t noticed, that dude SoTeeOh‘s been putting in WORK. First saw his name maybe 3 years ago now and his output has been consistently dope from the jump. Congrats man. Be sure to go check out his photography exhibit starting May 1st. All info below and peep the video above for the visual taste.
This contemporary exhibition explores a current digital street photography movement from a uniquely Toronto perspective. A blend of design, architecture, urban grit, cityscapes, and street fashion – SoTeeOh employs an urban guerrilla approach to photography to create staged compositions in dynamic environments. Significant post digital processing is also a component of this style and aesthetic, producing images that are rooted in the urban scape but also feel slightly surreal.
OPENING RECEPTION Friday May 1st, 7-11pm EXHIBITION DATES May 1 – 13, 2015 HOSTED AT Project Gallery | 1109 Queen St E Video By: Stiir | Sandbox
South London U.K.’s Benjamin A.D. releases visuals for his dreamy, Junia-T-produced latest single. Shouts to SB#1 steady putting in that work man!
“The track was created in a very organic way, Junia was over here from Toronto and we were in the studio with Skripture, I heard the sample while I was on the phone in the room next door and instantly ran in and said I wanted it. We worked on it further and I asked him to keep it minimal, while Skripture killed it with the bass.
A few days later I did my work with it, and decided to address my absence from the game, and show people that I’ve been living my life and getting my mind in order. This song shows people that this is a better version of me, the evolution is evident and inevitable.” – Benjamin A.D
