NEW MUSIC: D-Sisive “Don’t Be” (Prod. Anonymous Twist)

The year was 2008…

I recorded this song in 2008 while working on Let The Children Die. The instrumental was an interlude on an Anonymous Twist album. Sometimes a piece of music can instantly own you. This beat did and I wrote the song right after my first listen. It was already part of a released album, so I knew I couldn’t use it. I included it on the mixtape, Knoblich|The Complete ’08 Comeback Special.

The lyrics were inspired by events I dealt with after my father’s death. Betrayed by my sister and her husband-with a repulsive hunger for money-I was forced to battle with a grotesque dark side. I still don’t know who won in the end. I borrowed some elements and wrote this mostly-fictional verse. You’ll hear more of the real story on my upcoming projects.
