Beastly Rexdale mic champion VIA LINEZ initially created the ill track with guest verses from TONA and KORRY DEEZ. THEO3 adds his own unique flavour with this self directed video all about rapping on the phone. Can’t do it.

Toronto rapper and Northstarr label head D.O. (short for ‘Defy the Odds’) presents the music video for “I Live For This (Pt. 1)”, his new single produced by Amsterdam-based producers StatikMusic. D.O. recently released Down Home, produced entirely by JUNO award-winning producer Classified and also featuring Joell Ortiz, Saukrates, Chad Hatcher, Maestro Fresh Wes, Mic Boyd, Spesh K, J-Bru and Jake Boyd. D.O. is the 2003 Guinness World Record holder for longest freestyle rap (video), a regular public speaker with his own school tour program Stay Driven, a Toronto Independent Music Award nominee (for his 2007 album Northstarr), a #1 CMJ artist and regularly performs internationally, most recently performing as one half of the duo Art Of Fresh alongside Snoop Dogg and ASAP Rocky at Croatia’s Fresh Island Fest, Europe’s biggest beach festival. “When I heard this beat I knew it was big,” says D.O. “This was last summer and we were on our way to Croatia where we performed at Fresh Island Festival alongside acts like Snoop Dogg, ASAP Rocky, and KRS-ONE. That’s where I got the concept for it. My favourite part about doing music is getting the ability to travel around the world. We shot the video in Monaco while I was attending and performing at MIDEM music festival in Cannes, France. MIDEM is the biggest music conference in the world. I’d been to Monaco a few times so I knew exactly where I wanted to shoot – in front of the world famous Monte Carlo casino, down by the dock, and up by the palace. After the video shoot we went out for dinner in Italy since it was just 30 minutes away. I live for days like that!”

But, without a doubt there was a particular song that would stand out, and start that ascension. For this weeks #TWMS release Sese borrows Outkast’s “Elevators” instrumental, off their double platinum second album “ATLiens.” Listen as Sese takes his fans on another trip this week with his lyrical exploits on “Elevators.”
