After the success of her 2014 JUNO nominated “Gone,” Toronto singer-songwriter Melanie Durrant releases the intimate new single “Four Seasons” off her highly anticipated new project.
In “Four Seasons” Durrant teams up with veteran producer Allstar once again, who provides a throwback vintage sound to the singer’s distinct, mesmerizing and powerful voice. The single will be included on Durrant’s sophomore album, Anticipation, available this fall.
“Gone” was Durrant’s second single in as many years to be recognized by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences at the JUNO Awards. Her single, “Made For Love,” was nominated for the 2013 Reggae Recording of the Year while “Gone” was a nomination for 2014 R&B/Soul Recording of the Year.
With a track record for big singles and previous chart success, the new album is certainly the product of Anticipation.
