In this first episode of a 3-part series directed by David Mewa, we look at the introduction of the compact cassette tape in the mid 1960’s and its rise to prominence in the early 1980’s. The mixtape was the original D.I.Y. tool for music lovers. It began a revolution that over 3 1/2 decades later led to everything we know today about music.
