Alessia Cara’s hit song “Here” is climbing the charts but it’s her video that’s garnered the most attention having already already hit 1 million views on YouTube!

The 18-year-old self proclaimed awkward teen sat down with me for Ladies First to talk about the pressures teens go through and being that girl who’d rather be a wallflower than the life of the party. She’s a symbol for the group of kids that feel that don’t fit in and are socially awkward, a group that hasn’t been addressed by any artist for some time especially to her age group. She’s super talented, super sweet, writes her own songs and music, from Canada, worships Drake (whom she’s dying to work with it), and performs her hit song “Here” in the studio for us.
