“Follow Me” is the latest single from D.O. Gibson’s recent album Duane Gibson. The inspirational song is about the path to finding one’s uniqueness. In the video, Gibson plays the role of substitute teacher watching over an unruly class. Adrian Rezza – the vocalist on the track – plays a music teacher. It’s not a stretch for either artist. Prior to becoming a full time artist, Gibson was a teacher/tutor. He taught learn to read classes for kindergarten students. Adrian Rezza has been an elementary school teacher for ten years.

Currently Gibson combines his passion of rapping and education as a motivational speaker. Through his Stay Driven program he has reached over 1000 schools and hundreds of thousands of youth.

“Follow Me” is directed by Illivbe – who was recently featured as a finalist on CBC’s Canada’s Smartest Person. This is the fifth video that Illvibe has shot for D.O.. Most recently they appeared together in Illvibe’s “The Life”.

In 2016, Gibson is gearing up for shows in Netherlands in January followed by a Black History Month school tour in February and a Cross Canada tour in March and April.
