So Zaki is re-releasing her first album, SHO (iqra in orange) (2006), for the first time digitally and also on special edition vinyl (dope!!!) and in the process of digging up the master tracks she just happened to find this little gem. A remix of one of the songs from Sho, “Take a Stand”. Gawgeous dahling, gawgeous.

PS. Today I posted ‘Take a Stand’ on Soundcloud. It was one of the first songs I ever wrote (with Mike Jansen) and still gives me all the feels. This remix by Nick Holder was done a decade ago and was recently found.
