New Single – “It’s On” – D.O. feat Chad Hatcher (produced by Classified)
The Realest I Ever Wrote…
Today is the start of Fresh Fridays. We are going to be dropping a track or video every Friday leading up to the release of my new album “Heavy In The Game.” The track is produced by Classified and features Chad Hatcher on the hook.
This is the story of my journey as an MC over the last 10+ years. Look out for the video coming soon!
This has some high and low parts but the heart is all there. RIP Whitney :(. Shouts to everyone involved. Here’s more info:
On February 11, 2012, Whitney Houston’s passing left a huge impact on the music industry. Fans and peers around the globe who adored her and admired her talent were left with a great feeling of grief as well as disbelief. Whitney Houston is an inspiration to many singers that strive to accomplish even a fraction of what she has accomplished in the span of her career.
To honour Whitney, the Love Always R&B performers and organizers (Nadine Hope and Sunny Diamonds) came together to record a tribute to ‘Greatest Love of All’, which we hope finds a place in the hearts of Whitney fans all over the world, and truly pays homage to the amazing voice and charismatic persona that Whitney shared with us all. In one epic day, over fifteen artists took to the Diamond Factory Studios booth under the vocal direction of Joe Louis and Quinn Maybach to each give the tribute a personal touch in honour of the late great Whitney Houston. Amongst the artists to put the record together were Honee Haye, Joe Louis, Hakeem, Tisha Jen, Ms Toya Diamond, Kayla, J’Soleil, Dwight Anderson, Alana Randall, Haley Small, Krystle Chance, Selah, Kay, Staasia Daniels, Recoia, Neza Da Songbird, and Mark McKay.
The video was directed by Cameraman Middy. The record was mixed and mastered by Sunny Diamonds at Diamond Factory Studios.
“Relax”. The 1st single release from R&B artist Keon Love. Directed by Ant Horsanli (@N5Pictures). Produced by SmokeShop Productions. Starring Andrew Hunter.
Got the internal “immediate crew only” mass email from one of my homegirls. “Heard of this girl?”. Sister replied-all with, “yea just heard of her the other day”….or something like that. Peeped the video and thought the voice was SICK. Thought to myself…she’s probably from the UK. Couple clicks later…she’s from Toronto but currently lives across the pond!
Anyways, this video is from November of last year. Get to know Cold Specks. And is it just me, or does she kinda look like she could be Talib Kweli’s sister or something? Lol.
