The saga of the come-up-kid called SepTO continues..

“In short, it has been an amazing year. “Allergy Pills and Alcohol” was released on May 29th of 2011. The support and opportunities received since then have been a profound blessing to me. I appreciate you all so much. Me and my team now stand at a point of major transition. Its time to move forward from our past accomplishments and into a new era of success. For now, let’s mark this moment with the international release of Nevera Evera, the intro to AP&A and obvious crowd favourite. You can find it on iTunes. I intend on continuing to keep my city proud. Thank you Thank you Thank you. Support Appreciated.
See you in July….

The song should be available for 99 cents on iTunes this week. Spread the word. Support Appreciated.
P.s. If you can’t wait for iTunes here is another live link for the single: http://cdbaby.com/cd/septo

VIDEO: F-You (The Forgiveness Project) – Promo

rez | Video | Saturday, June 2nd, 2012

Likkle viral promo for Tara Muldoon’s F-You: The Forgiveness Project initiative. Info below. Shouts to everyone thus far who has had the strength to go up in front of a room of people and share their very personal stories. Not sure when the next event is but when we know…you’ll know:).

Our goal is for the next generation to simply know “f-you” as “I forgive you.”

Forgiveness is not permission, or predisposed justification – it’s the release of detrimental feelings, thoughts and emotions that can consume us. F-You: The Forgiveness Project is an impassioned and inspiring event, featuring speakers who have overstepped the line between being a victim and being a survivor in the face of their own internal adversities.

— Tara Muldoon | Gravity Affect

F-You: The Forgiveness Project is a community outreach program spearheaded by Tara Muldoon and geared towards creating an understanding of mental health.

NEW MUSIC: The Let Up “Prefix” (EP)

Ty Harper | Audio,Music | Friday, June 1st, 2012

Fresh off their appearance on Era’s latest project, Sadie and Aiden drop the “Prefix”.

A duo hailing from Toronto’s Queen St. W neighbourhood, The Let Up creates music that is simultaneously raw and lush; unflinchingly human yet cold and electronic; instantly familiar but curiously alien.
It’s about creating art – not making songs – capable of immersing the listener in an emotional landscape that they wouldn’t otherwise experience.
In other words, did we make you feel something? If so, good.
skittles,
TLU

EVENT: Stalley, Rich Kidd, The Antiheroes & Ngajuana (Live Tonight @ APK, London)

Ty Harper | Concerts,Events,Music,Video | Friday, June 1st, 2012

What you doing tonight?

The Come Up Show in association with N.E.C Productions, Outerbass and Urban Life U. are proud to be bringing Massillon, Ohio-bred rapper Stalley, Toronto artists Rich Kidd. The Anitheroes, and London’s own Ngajuana to APK Live for one, unforgettable night.

Stalley’s career first took off when his and Ohio DJ Terry Urban’s mixtape ‘Goin’ Ape’ caught the interest of Mos Def; which led to the Ohio emcee opening for Mos on one of his tours. Last year, Stalley re-released his first album through his new label Maybach Music Group. This time around, he added a new track list; which included a remix to his song “Lincoln Way Lights” (also the name of the LP) featuring Rick Ross. Along with Ross, Stalley’s list of known hip-hop associates is nothing short of impressive; with names like Ski Beatz, Jay Electronica, Wale, Curren$y, and even folk rocker John Mayer.

Opening the show will be Mississauga’s own Juno nominated producer and artist Rich Kidd & Toronto group The Antiheroes, who, along with local act Ngajuana, are expected to get the crowd going before the main event. If you’re near London on June the 1st, don’t miss this event!
