Usually I wouldn’t post up production this stripped down and short but when it’s from one of the production outfits responsible for shaping Toronto’s 90s hip-hop sound, I openly make an exception. Down 2 Erf aka production duo ‘The Twins” and emcee Mathematik gave us some of Toronto’s sickest 90s era hip-hop records: from Citizen Kane’s“Reality & Facts” and “Structure, Foundation” to “Learn 2 Earn” and “Rhyme Training” with Mathematik. I have no idea whether they’re releasing new material or even coming back together; I just happened to randomly stumble on this soundcloud page where you can hear several other beat snippets that were recently posted. Hopefully we see/hear more from these guys in the future.. meantime, enjoy.

After connecting for the “High Expectations” release we get the first taste of music off Via Linez & Lyve’s official collaborative project entitled “Trains, Automobiles & Flights”.
These two dudes have definitely reached a point in their careers where anything they drop is something I’m looking forward to hearing.
