THE KNOWN [UN]KNOWN RETURNS WITH A MONTHLY EVENT SERIES & REALITY SHOW
Toronto, ON (October 10, 2012) — Initiated two years ago by Toronto native Tika Simone, The Known UNknown is Toronto’s first urban audition-only showcase that prides itself on supporting & uplifting local talent within the city. Each show features a headliner (a feature artist) and opening acts (artists who had to audition to open for the headliner) who provide the audience with a live taste of their genre-bending music.
However after taking a hiatus, The Known UnKnown is back again with a brand new twist! Not only have the shows been scheduled to occur monthly, but the entire process will be taped and our captured moments will be featured on a reality show style mini series.
The audition process, interview with the headliner as well as the highlights of performance night will be documented.
The first show, which will be held on November 11th, highlights hip-hop and R&B acts only. The headliner is TBA! The event is 19+ only.
Auditions will be held on Tuesday, October 16th, 2012 from 4-9 PM at the Crawford [718 College St. W]. As limited spaces are available to audition, email theknownunknowninfo@gmail.com to book your audition time.
