Ushering in the upcoming release of the “CLARITY” album, Frankie Payne is back! Lacing the place with the melodic lyrical fusion he calls “Revolutionary Soul”. As always Frankie Payne’s new Single “FOLLOW YOUR HEART” brings the knowledge and depth that we always expect from an MC of this caliber. Produced by Tonemason and captured visually by Ironhorse Productions, This single promises to become another great chapter in a legacy of good music!
Everyone has opinions and beliefs. We force them on each other everyday. All of us believing that what we believe is the only real truth. Not realizing that everyones truth even our own is made up of other peoples truths. See there are some lessons that no one can teach you, some questions no one can answer, simply because you are the only you there will ever be. No one can tell you what happiness is because it’s different for everyone! People (especially lonely one’s) will always try to place judgement on the things that give your life purpose and make you happy because frankly they envy you. Sometimes, if you want something great, you have to decide whether your going to follow what people say, or FOLLOW YOUR HEART!
It’s too bad that Aion performed last at this event last month because most of the people had left at that point (Thursday night) but let me be clear when I say that when he sang out those first words (“I been really trying baby”) everyone that was left in the joint was forced to pay attention. Shouts to pure talent.

The track “Mingus Clap” is a nod to the late, great Charles Mingus. The prominent vocal chant is reminiscent of spiritual Jazz, over an infectious, hypnotic clap groove. The raw, textured black and white footage captures the emotional landscape of the music. Jai Nitai Lotus’ last line sums up the song with “Musically a masterpiece, feeling like I mastered peace, Peace!”
This is the first video single off Jai Nitai Lotus’ album titled “Something You Feel” dropping Nov 6th.
Song written and produced by Jai Nitai Lotus
Bass by Mark Haynes
Cello by Emmanuelle Naima
Electric viola by Guillaume Tourville
The Come Up Show was asked to host the First Look Cypher at the 6th annual Manifesto this year. To those who don’t know the First Look Cypher consists of emcees that are up and coming in the Hip-Hop scene and making a name from themselves, it’s makes sense The Come Up Show presented this segment right? This year the cypher included emcees Casper, Ashton Martin, and Dante Leon. Each emcee got approximately 30 seconds for the first round of cypher, then got to perform their own original song for a minute, and then we ended it with a quick round of cyphers. Hosted by yours truly, J.R. and our good friend DJ Doubledown on the tables.
