Nice behind-the-scenes look at come-up artist Ben Stevenson as he heads to NYC with Maasters to work with musician/producer/engineer Ken Lewis (Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Bruno Mars).
Yooooooo! There’s back cover art for singles now (under the hood)???
Lol.
Newness from the Brothers Smash. Like I said before, the SB push is getting kinda lovely right now so make sure you’re up to date. All links below.

Sick-ass video from my dude iSH. This is the first I’ve seen/heard of his new stuff and it’s easy for me to say that this is the best I’ve seen from him. Salute amigo.
These days we have to reinvent ourselves on a daily basis. We can lose our sense of purpose to simple distractions, not giving ourselves enough time to reflect. In the first video release for the THR3MIX project, End of the Story is about coming to terms with failure, mastering defeat and laying to rest the insecurities that keep us from reaching our potential.
Gawd damn Haley Small is FOINE! Get caught up with what she’s been up to below. Oshaun on verse duties (and yes, that’s the dude in the “Geet Weh” video).
Happy Holidays y’all. Whatever it is you may be celebrating! Is it too early for that type of talk? Lol
Why does EVERY rapper want to be a singer? It’s funny because singers always say that they can’t say enough in their songs due to the confines of melody (you can only have so many words in an audibly pleasing melody) and thus love rappers for being able to say so much in their rhymes. And then you’ve got all these rappers that just can’t find the right words to emote properly so they….just….HAVE…..to……sing!
Lol.
Shouts to Chillaz and the whole Varsity Fam tho! Song’s dope. And while we’re here, shouts to…hmmm…off the top of my head: Slick Rick, Mos Def, Saukrates, Lauryn, Missy, Bone Thugs, 3000 (and more) and more recently Kanye and Drizzy for pioneering the rapper / singer thing in their own ways.
I’d like to take this opportunity to say that Karl Wolf is my least favorite artist of all time ever. That being said, I stay being a Kardi fan so although conflicted…here is his new video. Enjoy. Shouts to my dude Rinku on the video production!
