Two-time Grammy Award-winning songstress Melanie Fiona hit the stage at SOB‘s in New York City this week for a rare acoustic set. She followed with a 30-minute a capella encore for the packed house. During an interview with SOB’s she cites a desire to connect with the crowd as her motivation to change the format a little. She also touches on the ways in which her Caribbean lineage informs her sound and live performance.
