Keeping as busy as ever, Toronto’s own Rich Kidd comes through with his annual compilation We On Some Rich Kidd Shit Vol. 7: The People’s Champ. Last week, he dropped “It’s Real Like That” featuring North Carolina spitter Deniro Farrar through Mass Appeal then landed “When It Go Down” via Hypetrak – a breezy summer anthem featuring co-production from Notorious crate-digger Frank Dukes (Ghostface Killah, Danny Brown, BADBADNOTGOOD, Tree). Now, here’s the full thing with notable guest appearances from Casey Veggies, Chase N Cashe, Torae, K-os, and Son Real among others. The People’s Champ is the 7th installment in the We On Some Rich Kidd Shit mixtape series which features Rich’s favorite songs from artists all over the globe on his production.

Being ofWest Indian and latin descent, Shaquille’s lyrical ability should not come as a shock. He often credits his early exposure to Hip Hop and R&B music for teaching him the logistics of word play and rhythmic flow.
