It’s been a long time coming. But it was inevitable that it would happen.
Featuring guest performances by Red Rat, Chip Fu, Rich Kidd, SepTo, Brotha
J, Dwayne Morgan and more, Dan-e-o’s long overdue third album “Inevitable”
is being heralded as his best work to date. On this 14-track URBNET
Records offering, Dan-e-o weaves vintage Golden-era-esque lyrical head
bangers in and out with introspective soul songs to present a mature,
witty and heartfelt hip-hop roller coaster ride of emotion.

Collaborating with Monolith co-founder Charisma a.k.a. Skizzz, who handles
the production of the album in its entirety, Dan-e-o has crafted a project
that is as sensually soulful as it is “hit-’em-where-it-hurts” raw. Also
including doses of rhythm and blues and dancehall reggae, “Inevitable”
delivers on all points musically.

Lyrically, Dan-e-o has never been better. Unashamed to expose his
vulnerable “I’ve been hurt” side while at the same time only too eager to
unleash his ever-bragadocious “world’s greatest MCisms”, “Inevitable”
presents Dan-e-o as both expert lyricist and soulful crooner all at once.

The multifaceted rapper, singer, songwriter and actor is unflinching in
his insistence that he is a force to be reckoned with in the worldwide
musical landscape. His rightful place atop it, as it were, is
“Inevitable”.

This is the official music video for my “TKO” cover by Justin Timberlake

When I first heard the song “TKO”, the melody of the beat reminded me of a sample I once heard before. I tried looking around on the internet for it but ended up settling for a sample that sounded similar to it. I also thought that adding a sample of The Beatles’ “Lonely People” into the second half of the loop would be pretty cool, and thought it also went well with the concept of Justin Timberlake’s song.
