Fan-made visuals for Shi’s siiiick and poignant “Young Gunner” single off her “Stranger Things Have Happened” project.
Seems like she’s given it her blessings + hinted at official visuals coming in the future, and anything that gives me a reason to shine more light on this out-the-gate-Megacity-classic is fine by me.
SUPERDOPE presents “Young Gunner” by Shi Wisdom. With the summer months drawing closer, let’s please be safe and enjoy it in peace. STOP THE VIOLENCE!

For those unfamiliar with the Canadian rapper-slash-singer, his alter ego goes by the name of Fargo Argentina. Today Tory kicks off a new series taking on that name, Fargo Fridays, which we can only assume will get us more familiar with who exactly Fargo is.
The first cut we’re premiering is an opulent record, slow-moving like Tory’s raps, dominated by lush strings. The Toronto native vents about wanting to make it big and prays to win. We have no doubts that he will.
Stay tuned for dope cuts from Tory every Friday!

Now the visuals have arrived in support of the Week 5 #TWMS release. It’s been a month since the start of the #ThisWasMyShit campaign, and Sese is busy at work crafting more releases. This is all in preperation of the third part of his “YFRWN” trilogy. Be on the lookout for weekly #TWMS releases and new material courtesy of, “Your Favourite Rappers Worst Nightmare.”

I like some of what this dude’s been coming with, but maaan I need artists to take the extra work day to come with titles, lyrics and themes that rise above the ‘we-just-having-fun’ normalized misogyny-raps.
And no matter how prevalent it is, or has been, or what hip-hop’s `illustrious’ Golden or 90’s-era past might tell you, artists that still choose to peddle these types of woman-debasing narratives as the `that’s-what’s-up’ sound of 2014, are sitting on the far, far wrong side of history.
It ain’t cool.
