SnapChat: rnbassmusicTORONTO (ON): TONIGHT maurice moore makes his Canadian Music Week debut, performing LIVE at Hard Rock Café (Yonge/Dundas). Moore ended the first quarter of 2015 on a high, having already performed at 6 shows across North America – including notable performances at Grammy-Week in Los Angeles & SXSW in Texas.
Marked as maurice moore’s 4th show in Toronto in 2015, this CMW performance will be a 40-minute set, in front of a Music Week crowd that has gathered from around the World for Canada’s week-long interactive music festival. Followers of MM’s soulful, yet trappy R&B will be sure to hear fan-favourites ‘Rollercoaster’ & ‘No Words,’ which can still be heard on G 987FM after a full year in rotation, in addition to internet viral sensations ‘Rich’ & ‘lol.’, which were Exclusively Premiered via Rated R&B & RnBass respectively.
After having already wrote 3 songs for a major label project, that will be announced in June, Moore will be looking to continue his momentum at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles this June. Alongside 2x Grammy-Nominated producers, T-Town Productions from Germany, Moore will be taking part in a writing camp for major artists such as Chris Brown, Adrian Marcel and Marques Houston.

Mannn….shouts to Lisa Banton who I bumped into the other night at the Jully Black show (Jully SLAYED btw!). Lisa’s been putting in work for a minute now and after releasing a handful of joints, snippets and cameos over the past few years she finally lets loose her debut EP, Lost & Found. Congrats Lisa!
Just another example of how dope the city’s R&B scene is. On first listen, the EP is tight. Definitely gonna take this one in.
Debut EP ‘Lost And Found’ by R&B/Soul artist, Lisa Banton.
R&B singer/songwriter Lisa Banton has had a lengthy love affair with making music since she was in grade school. What started as a knack for poetry and the written word blossomed into song writing and eventually vocals as she got older. Once she discovered that the voice that best communicated her lyrics was her own, music became her legs and the time arrived for Lisa Banton to step out onto the global stage….
An EP about the confusion of love, the wants and needs of love and the letting go of love. Sit back and take a listen to ‘Lost And Found’….
