New project from LAL who actually just returned from India in time for its release.
How it could be that I was in touch with LAL member (and co-founder of pioneering hip-hop production outfit Da Grassroots) Murr just last week and he failed to mention that this album had dropped is beyond me (*scratches head).
Anyways check them performing live March 21st @ Cinecycle behind 120 Spadina Ave (east side between Richmond St. W. and Adelaide St. W).
Caliph drops his “Late Resignation” project, also available on iTunesand Amazon.

Slakah continues to drop a nice variety of projects under his many alter-egos (some we know him for – some we probably don’t, lol). This time around it’s all about The Slakadeliqs and the album “The Other Side Of Tomorrow” which features collabos with Justin Nozuka, Shad, King Reign, Tanika Charles, Ebrahim (dude drop an album already, lol!) and Sweden’s Tingsek.
Vancity’s Tonye Aganaba releases her EP: “White Wizard”.
I have always had a real fascination with the stars and the study of ancient worlds, and a recent foray into the world of the ancient mayans, led me to the happy faced White Wizard emblem seen on my album cover. This sign is that of White Wizard, a person believed to be a shaman, guiding others to light by empowering and enchanting them with their gifts. This sign represents my birthdate and as such has turned into a talisman of sorts, representing my belief in the magic of life, and the power of positivity. I chose to release the first single on the 2nd of January because it’s a significant day in the the Mayan Calendar. It’s a White Wizard day. The tone of the day is to be inspired by the divine, and to communicate from the spirit. A wonderful sentiment to have when releasing any project! My hope is that the message within it will inspire and touch you! By releasing my EP on a White Wizard day, I am reminded to see the divine in everything that I do. Dedicated to my Family and every member of my soul group. Special Thanks to Live Vision Management, EBM 14’s, Randy Ponzio, The Foundation.
New music and first introduction to Bizzarh. Don’t know a whole lot about this group?/outfit?/collective?/entity? (I think at least one of them’s from the U.K.) – but I do know that the project was mixed/engineered by Spek Won and KJ – and they/it sound(s) pretty promising.
Pretty sure there’s gonna be ’nuff albums/mixtapes dropping on Jan. 1st so here’s the jump-off courtesy of Crown A’ Thornz. Full tracklist under the hood!
