Montreal’s own Kaytranada drops his first single on XL Recordings today. “Leave Me Alone” the slow-burning soulful cut featuring fellow Montrealer Shay Lia is the producer’s first official single since the release of “At All” last Fall. Since then, Kaytranada has collaborated with Mobb Deep, Vic Mensa, and Goldlink as well as sailing through a string of unstoppable remixes for the likes of Azealia Banks, Aluna George, MNEK, Chet Faker, and more.

Still running hot throughout a summer that has seen him complete a sold out European tour and festivals around the world including a major homecoming show at Montreal’s Osheaga last week, Kaytranada is also embarking on a fall tour stretching from San Diego at the Mad Decent Block Party and ending in Paris at Pitchfork Festival, with twenty dates throughout North America and Europe.

For the time being, fans can hold on to “Leave Me Alone” and Kaytranada’s most recent collaboration with Vic Mensa “Wimme Nah”.
