Told you she was back!
After dropping some heat yesterday Eternia gears up for her welcomed return to the Toronto stage. With supporting acts like Clas of ’93, Frankie Payne and DJ Law it looks like it’ll be a dope edition of the Big Ticket overall too.
What do I think? Glad you asked. I think E’s gonna murder the stage.

The Known Unknown Presents:
THE FOUR YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY
NEW SCHOOL EDITION
ft.
SEAN LEON
Sunday, July 28th, 2013 @ 8:00PM EST
Measure Bar
Four years ago, The Known Unknown was created and became Toronto’s first audition-only urban music showcase. On our stage, we have had the opportunity to have amazing acts grace us with their talent like Rochelle Jordan, the Airplane Boys and LION BABE. Four years later, we have seen our brand successfully grow into something that we, as well as Toronto, is proud of.
This month The Known Unknown celebrates its FOUR YEAR ANNIVERSARY and we want to ring in this special day by showcasing the best NEW SCHOOL HIP-HOP & R&B acts including Toronto’s very own SEAN LEON his ixxi team.
About Sean Leon
Sean Leon states that his plan is and always has been giving his fans the rarest commodity in the world; certainty.
“I promise them certainty in an uncertain world. They are certain that when they go to listen to anything with my name on it that it is of a certain quality, a certain level of excellence.Music is a drug, and the best part of the best drug in the world isn’t the high, it’s the moment just before you take it. The dice are dancing on the table, between now and the point they stop is the best high in the world”.
Leon’s dream is to supply the best drug in the world. He wants to be the new Scarface, the new Sosa. His dream is to become the modern day version of Frank Lucas. This wild ambition is essentially what makes Sean Leon such a captivating artist.

Shouts to D for not only being one of the nicest, most underrated and most consistent MCs in the city / country / world/ galaxy / universe but for also taking the plunge into fatherhood. Yep, he’s about to be a Dad. Yep, this guy is going to be a father. Lol.
Just playing:). Good luck on your journey my brother! And oh yea…go check out his show on Thursday night. I’m assuming he needs to save up for diapers and the such.
I’m happy to announce I’m having a baby. A girl. A daughter. My daughter. This means I will be in charge of somebody’s life. It’s scary, because four years ago I considered ordering a pizza from 241 Pizza and buying two veal sandwiches from California Sandwiches on Dufferin Street grocery shopping. I would eat out of the fridge. Cold veal. That was me. And now, I’m going to be a father. Because of this, I’ve made some changes. I now heat up the veal. And have a fridge filled with vegetables. Mainly because my baby-mama is a vegetarian. Regardless, I’m a lot more responsible than I was four years ago.
I’m losing my edge.
When Nelly Furtado had her daughter, she lost her edge. Not that she was Blanche Devereaux to begin with, but Folklore was no Whoa, Nelly! She said ‘shit’ on Whoa, Nelly. And Folklore was what my friends would refer to as ‘Fat Portuguese Mom Music.’ This makes me nervous. Am I destined to make Fat Macedonian Dad Music? I already make Fat Macedonian Music. I’m a fat Macedonian. How do I stop the Dad part? Do I stop it? Furtado eventually redeemed herself with Loose. Will I have the opportunity to record a duet about sexing with Timbaland? Or, who’s the Canadian Timbaland? Jarvis Church? Or Prozzak?
These are the things I think about while staring at hot veal.
The point I’m trying to make is…I’m having a baby. And I want to celebrate it with you! And we shall celebrate here…

Should be another dope event by a dope initiative in the community. Shouts to everyone involved!
UforChange is an arts and civic engagement project for newcomer, at-risk and low-income youth living in and around St. James Town. This July we will be celebrating the graduation of our Cycle 6 participants with our arts showcase, Vivacity. Vivacity celebrates the graduation of our participants from the most recent cycle with a two day art showcase. Vivacity allows our supporters and the public to come take part in the celebration and view the work of the participants over the past six months. Vivacity is a time for the youth of UforChange to network, share the skills they have learned and art they have created with the City of Toronto.
Please view the attached video of our previous Vivacity Showcase and flyer which contains a detailed schedule of the events taking place during Vivacity!
We hope to see you there and appreciate the support.
