Late summer 2010 I got the pleasure of filmming Fatski @Earthwater Arts and his family on a green screen in the Manifesto studio. If you know Mr Ski then you know it is next to impossible to flag this man down or schedule him for anything so I saw the opportunity as a privilege and it was an amazing shoot and a pleasure getting to meet his family. I then spent the last 3+ years with my extremely talented brother Add Knot working on the compositing and special effects for this beast working in 3 or 4 sessions a year. This is was a %100 a complete passion project and there was zero $$$ put into this project. As the anniversary of my birth roles around again the lyrics resonate with me even more than they did 3+ years ago.

 

This project was also made up of a bigger project which LaPointe Pro was a part of doing the another remix version

It’s only Week 2 of rap artist Sese’s new weekly freestyle series #TWMS. And, the UTVMG/AMG artist shows no signs of letting up. This week’s beat choices come courtesy of a Hip Hop masterpeice. The year was 1995, and the Chef Raekwon of Wu-Tang had dropped one of the best debut albums in Hip Hop history, “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx”.
