Looking like the buzz’s about to get serious for P. Reign’s upcoming project, as he and A$AP make the media rounds promoting the video for their collabo.
A$AP Rocky is bringing his Harlem swag to the Great White North. The rapper took a break from touring on the Diamonds World Tour, alongside Rihanna, to shoot the video for his collaboration with P. Reign, “We Them Ni–as.”
“The direction of the video is to take the lifestyles of Canada and New York and interpret it on camera,” A$AP Rocky tells Billboard of the Footage and Chubbs-directed pan-regional visual while on set at Toronto’s Silverline Studios. “It’s just easy to work with mother fuckers who know you creatively and believe in your shit. That’s why this shit just goes together perfectly, because mother fuckers ain’t afraid to take risks,” A$AP said of the collaboration with the Toronto rapper. Being the consummate sartorialist that he’s known to be, A$AP joked about bringing his high-fashion eye to the set. “We got this ni–a trying on Balmain and all that,” he laughed.
P. Reign’s forthcoming mixtape “Dear America,” which features “We Them Ni–as,” is slated to drop later this year. “Dear America” features additional guest appearances from French Montana, Waka Flocka Flame and Drake.

The latest release from the Toronto duo The Antiheroes is probably their biggest collaboration to date. The new song, “So Easy,” features a third verse from Los Angeles’s Thurz, with a hook coming from Ash Riser of Kendrick Lamar fame. Meanwhile, the killer beat comes from fellow-Toronto native Rich Kidd, who has previously appeared on “Cloud 9” with The Antiheroes. “So Easy” appears on The Antiheroes’ upcoming release, Modern Day Riot, which is due next Monday, March 25th, via DJ Booth.

New Tona over a Rich Kidd production, as we await the release of that “Silverspring Crescent” project (and I await the return of my card reader from a certain sick emcee).
Toronto rapper Mikey Hammerz (aka Mega City) is back with a new track called “The Affair” produced by Freddie 5 Piece.
Mikey Hammerz is following up his 2012 mixtape “The Mikey Hammerz Story Vol. 1” with a video for the track “The Affair” directed by Big Sproxx. Mikey Hammerz has a lot on the way to look forward to;
including a currently untitled mixtape in the works, which will feature “The Affair”, as well as an upcoming EP with Toronto veteran emcee Adam Bomb.
Be on the lookout for more Mikey Hammerz in the near future!
