The track “Mingus Clap” is a nod to the late, great Charles Mingus. The prominent vocal chant is reminiscent of spiritual Jazz, over an infectious, hypnotic clap groove. The raw, textured black and white footage captures the emotional landscape of the music. Jai Nitai Lotus’ last line sums up the song with “Musically a masterpiece, feeling like I mastered peace, Peace!”
This is the first video single off Jai Nitai Lotus’ album titled “Something You Feel” dropping Nov 6th.
