The EP is a spiral body of music that tells a love story of twin stars. It was inspired by the key-stone song, ‘Binary’, from the full length record. The story manifested from a writing collaboration between Zaki and Heather Thompson (aka Lady Venom) and a bank of beat compositions from Maramza in South Africa. The collaboration subsequently occurred on two continents, as Casey MQ, another beat maker, composer & writer from Brampton, Canada was pulled into the fold. I decided to release this film on the full moon August 7th…as a small, subtle celebration of abundance and realness..The song is about a dance of twin stars, as if they were fish…spiral in the wake of each others’ lateral lines..pores open, our skin is sound… The binary star system moves in the same dance.
The video itself is a one take. Filmed in Cape Town on the M1 at midnight.. Myself and Ebrahim Hajee decided to do this thing.

With his debut project It’s Yours, beign featured on Complex, Noisey, Montreality, Boi-1da.net and Hip Hop Canada, as well as his single “Off That” peaking at #23 on Spotify’s US Viral 50 chart in the short time since it’s release in December, the future is bright for ninetyfour.
