Haven’t posted about this dude in like 2 years. Back then he was just producing as far as I can remember. Either way…since then he’s been a busy man. He popped up on Travis Scott’s latest album as a featured artist so you know the buzz is real right about now. This may or may not be your intro to Nav but either way I’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot more from him in the near future…

Episode 7 – “Heartthrob II”
Quietly protesting against his mean math teacher, Roshin selects “C” for every question on a standardized multiple choice test. He hits the lottery when every answer indeed turns out to be “C.” Bumped up into the gifted program, he starts to believe in the hype of his new-found intellectual prowess. Roshin decides to skip the Battle of the Bands to focus on his studies. Bronze and Arowbe recruit a secret weapon, rapper Choosey, who steps up in Roshin’s place. When Roshin comes to his senses and shows up to join the crew on stage, a four way battle breaks out. But the crowd thinks it’s all part of the show. They go wild for the phenomenal four. BBRC takes first place with a perfect score from the judges and history is made at Pacific Coast High School.

A few months after releasing his mixtape Black Frames, Toronto rapper ShaqIsDope is preparing to release a new project, ShaqIsDope EP. Following the premiere of “For The Streets” on Noisey Radio, and sharing “Wake Up” earlier this month, SID returned today with his first single of the upcoming project “Owe Me.” Produced by Pitt Tha Kid and Felix Leone, “Owe Me” features ShaqIsDope crooning about a girl that he has been lusting for and wishing he was with her romantically. The track was premiered by Ebro Darden on Beats1. Listen to “Owe Me” below.
