PG is set to release a 4th music video from her album “The Elements of PG” for the song “Place for You” in the following weeks.
From her roots in Portland, Jamaica to growing up in a single family home in downtown Toronto Canada. PG (born Peta-Gaye Duff) learned early on the value of being ambitious and self-sufficient. And whether she is singing R&B, rapping, performing solo, with dancers or with her live band, that inner strength is what makes it so special.
This project has been 5 years compiling interviews and creating the story that is Canadian Hip Hop. The every day Canadian doesn’t know much about the trials and tribulations of the Hip Hop scene in our great country of Canada. This documentary asks the question what is the identity of Canadian HipHop. Than the film goes through the history of the Canadian Hip Hop scene, the pioneer’s, the underground, the radio and the state of the industry to give the viewer an understanding of the culture.

Born out of the idea of allowing the city’s young and emerging artists to showcase their talent on a bigger platform with a unified voice, The Manifesto Festival of Community and Culture celebrated its 5 year anniversary in 2011, from September 15th-25th in Toronto Canada.
