“For Free” is the lead single off of Haviah Mighty’s EP ‘Flower City,’ dropping Thursday February 2nd, 2017. Produced by Young Dreadz. Directed by VSOPFIlms. Featuring Yonathan Kristos.
“For Free” follows a young woman’s perspective as she journeys through the timeline of an evening and is encountered and swooned by an unidentified individual. This person buys her drinks and pays for a good time, the type of evening any young-at-heart partier could hope for!

Been super swamped this week so just playing some catch up. Especially with this dude man. Lots of material coming from Sean Leon in 2017 including a short film called “Life When You’re The Movie” which is screening at The Royal on January 23rd.
LOCATION: ROYAL CINEMA (608 College St., Toronto, ON)
TIME: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Sean Leon is a name that has resonated with Toronto’s eclectic music and culture scene for years. Before releasing his first album, he formed the IXXI initiative which is the collaborative project dedicated to bringing Toronto’s artistic community together. This collective has lead a positive and influential regime for artists, and has in turn made Sean Leon a muse for the Canadian music industry. Sean Leon is a pillar to the success of many of his peers and emanates his creative influence on a number of collaborations. He’s collaborated with artists such as Daniel Caesar, BADBADNOTGOOD, River Tiber, and WondaGurl.
In July 2013 Sean Leon released his debut mixtape “Ninelevenne, the Tragedy” that brought a fresh perspective to Toronto’s active hip-hop community. Sean Leon followed up with his second mixtape in 2014 “Narcissus, the Drowning of Ego” which reinforced this perspective.
This brings us to a new and exciting project from the creative mind of Sean Leon, “Life When You’re The Movie”. This short film will act as a visual representation of Sean Leon’s musical styles. Raw, stylized and authentic productions that evolves through no limitations. The film will preview music from his forthcoming album “I think You’ve Gone Mad” expected to release before the Summer.
Fader Premier Exclusive – http://www.thefader.com/2017/01/09/sy… “Whole Lotta / Dirty Bird” marks the beginning of a big year for Missussauga rapper SYPH — in 2017, he’ll release an EP and appear on Meek Mill’s Dreamchasers 4.5 mixtape. His new music video, premiering today on The FADER, is a tour of his Canadian hometown. It’s two songs in one: “Whole Lotta” has a beat that recalls Zaytoven and Travis Scott, an ode to flexing that sees SYPH cruising around town. As the sun sets, the clip segues into “DirtyBird,” where SYPH and his crew don balaclavas and pull donuts in Bentleys as snow falls gently in an apartment complex’s parking lot.
“It was important for me to bring it back home and let everyone know that Mississsauga (Sauga City) is here to stay,” SYPH told The FADER over email. “I take great pride in putting on for my city.”
