Intro to Brown Boy Sunny. Couple dope bars in there and the beat / hook’s strong too. Not mad. Took a quick look at his other joints on YouTube and I gotta say though (and I’ve said this before), that Indian MCs dropping N-bombs has never sat well with me (he doesn’t in this song). So yea, I’ma keep an eye out for new music from this guy but if I don’t post it up it’s probably because of that.

Are we finally seeing a full-fledged Gillatein push? Dope joint / video from the Reps Up general. Shouts to the random Raekwon cameo too.
Known for his rugged flows and matching good looks – Gilla is a featured model for the OVO clothing line, and appears in their current lookbook – on “Pray For Me”, he spits lyrics of repentance over Worthy’s haunting bass-heavy beats. Wu Tang Clan’s Raekwon – who Gilla has had a working relationship with over the years – makes a cameo appearance. “Pray For Me” is the first single from the forthcoming and highly anticipated “Stay Solid – Part Two” mixtape.
Toronto-based OVO affiliated Reps Up crew rapper Gilla has been notorious in the hip hop underground for flooding the web and streets with mixtapes, with his singles even popping up on The Weeknd’s blog. As a member of Reps Up – whose members include rapper P. Reign, Drake’s right hand man / bodyguard Chubbs, and Baka aka Baka Not Nice – Gilla’s debut single “Pray For Me” is produced by Grammy nominated producer Daniel Worthy (Drake, Yo Gotti, PartyNextDoor, The Game).
Official viz for Immerze’s “Tropicana”. Shouts to VanCity!
Having taken a break from the game to deal with the beautiful gifts life can bring families, Immerze has ‘resurrected’ with vengeance as he starts preparing for 2017. Premiered by TeamBackPack and racking up over 20,000 views in 24 hours, “Tropicana” a smooth balance between some Max B vibes and new school rap.

Dope one from Rochester. Shouts to the random guitar man haha. Some feel-good vibes are indeed needed right about now.
Toronto-based rapper Rochester (aka Juice) is no stranger to big stages and shining lights, having supported a slew of A-list urban music talents on tour and on spot dates, including Chris Brown, Kanye West, Nas and Snoop Dogg. His debut street single and video “Boost” featuring Hooks, produced by Dzy (Dej Loaf, Kevin Gates, Little Simz, $ha) peaked at number six on Apple Music’s “Hot In The Six” chart right below Drake, Torey Lanez and Roy Woods. Rochester reconnects with Grammy Award-winning producer Boi 1da (Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, Eminem) on his new single and video “Grateful”
The last Rochester and Boi-1da collaboration “Pull Up” featured a widely shared remix with Canadian rap icon Kardinal Offishall and Latin Grammy Award nominee Fito Blanko among others. This winter, Rochester gets set to release his forthcoming EP Cowabunga, by far his most anticipated and ambitious release to date.
