New audio / visual release from Unbuttoned in preparation for their upcoming EP release, Minute Lasting. This one’s almost 18 minutes long! Definitely more of a short film rather than a music video. I also don’t know if this is one crazy-long song or a few songs strung together. It’s also ok not to know and to just take it in because Unbuttoned is dope.

Following the premiere of her street single “Nowhere feat. RetcH” (via Complex) and “My Level” (via The FADER), Tasha the Amazon takes a timeout from murdering festival stages to release the official video for “My Level”.
Shot in Los Angeles during a recent writing and recording session for her forthcoming EP, the lyrics tell you everything you need to know – “should’ve never given us money, we jumpin with Jordans all up on ya sofa.”
Papa Won with some actual real talk. Take this one in.
Adversity can shut you down. Or, as in the case of Toronto hip-hop artist Spek Won, it can spur you on. He’s not afraid to look at difficult issues – he tackled police brutality in his recent video “Black Body.” It’s an elegy to the tragedy of past years, while it points to resistance and healing.
And Spek Won has looked challenge straight in the eye his whole life. In this clip from Exhibitionists, he opens up about the suffering he witnessed plague his father’s adulthood, and the driving force that suffering has become in Spek’s own life.
Watch Exhibitionists on Sundays at 4:30 p.m./5 p.m. NT on CBC-TV.
