One of Toronto’s best kept secrets, Boko Maru, teams up with Kensho for “Downtime” a soothing R&B single produced by Melodiesinfonie. To date it has already racked up 15k + plays on soundcloud and continues to make waves in the indie scene. Now we finally have the visuals, directed by Jay Montenegro. 

Using an Anime from the late 80’s called “Golgo 13”, Jay Montenegro paints the picture of two lovers sharing an intimate moment.

Missed this one a few months back so playing catch up with one of the dopest bands in the city right now. Off their album, Planes. Who else can cover “One in a Million” and do it justice the way they did? No one I say. No one.
