The Beat Academy presents “The Road to SXSW” a mini-doc about a team of young producers, including Wondagurl, Rich Kidd, Chef Byer and more in their journey to compete in the first-ever international team beat battle at SXSW 2014.
On March 13, 2014, 16 producers battled it out in 5 incredible rounds for the title in the Champion Sound Beat Battle at SXSW. The event, organized by The Beat Academy and co-produced with the support of Texas’ own SCBB (Houston), included some of the most talented up-and-coming producers in hip hop.
