As promised…Leila Dey drops some highly anticipated new chunes in the form of her I’ve Arrived EP. There’s really only 3 new songs – “Do You” feat. Redway (RIP), “I Know” and “Karma”. Really glad to hear the newness after a long 3 year wait! Hopefully this is the start of a real push for Leila and the team.
The youngin’ John River drops his highly anticipated 2nd tape, The Storm (follow up to 2012’sThe Calm). The tape features production from River himself, Wondagurl and FrancisGotHeat and also includes dubs like “Hope City II” and his tribute to Redway, “BLVD”. Looking forward to taking this one in.
