Catching up with Caliph and his “Lead With…” series of EPs.
“Lead With Love” is my first EP from the “Lead With” series. My mission for this series is teach people what RiseOrDie means in depth and what the RiseOrDie Life stands for. Each EP (or EPisode) provides the tools needed to achieve that standard of living. What better way to start off the series than to start with the first thing that started me on my path, Love. My love for music was what eventually led me to start creating my own, which in turn, shaped the person I am today. Love is at the core in everything that I do. But Love is just one (maybe the most important) of the many things needed to reach our full potentials.
Each track emulates love in different ways. Weither directly, indirectly, or emotionally. Not a single joint is about the love between women and man, too cliché.
“Lead With Honor” is the second drop from the “Lead With” series. Honor is another essential tool I’ve discovered on my journey thus far. Honor your mind, body and soul. Sometimes that’s easier said than done because we all have our faults but recognizing them is progress. Some of the experiences I went through to discover this way of thinking are included on this tape. I had to go through what I went through to get here, No regrets. Enjoy
R.O.Z and DJ Dames Nellas drop off a collaborative mixtape to celebrate 4/20. “Mo Piff” contains previously released R.O.Z records in addition to some new joints and exclusive freestyles, as a warm up for his upcoming EP entitled “EPiffany” which will be coming soon. Tape features Styles P, Smoke DZA, Big Lean and others.
Like I mentioned in the past we’ve been pretty picky about posting up local producers/deejays’ remixes or refixes of already established songs cuz, lets face it, there are tons of deejays and producers that look at it as a quick way to get some attention (and it shows). But this dude’s been sooo consistent with it (the Janet ‘If’ remix being my favorite so far) that you can expect to see more posts of this nature in the future. So to all you corner-cutter, opportunistic ‘producers’ and ‘re-mix/fixers’ – ain’t nothing changed, so don’t even bother – but feel free to salute this dude when you see him.

BMore BFore is an 8 song FreEP from BIAS Truth, formerly known as B.I.A.S which he is releasing on his birthday April 16th. Like most of his previous work, BIAS Truth handled the production, while delivering smooth, uplifting bars throughout the entire project. BMore BFore serves as precursor for his upcoming project BComing.
Bio: BIAS made the decision on November 2011 to take his passion for producing and writing music serious and it seems to be paying off. He prides himself on his “Originality” and on a first listen you can see just what is meant by this statement. He has produced and worked with
Blake Carrington (Buffalo, Toronto, and Los Angeles) and Euro league (Bronx, New York City) and local artists within the city of Toronto. He also is apart of Collectively All Determined, or CAD, which was created in 2012. Most of the crew is based in the Toronto area in Ontario, Canada, while Kam0 (Producer) is based in Paris, France. Each member has their own unique style, which is shaped by their influences and experiences. BIAS lives his art/music,
staying as true to him-self as he can be, no need to portray, with The BIAS Truth.

Her stunning vocals and hard work have allowed her to make major strides in a short time. She has worked with Grammy-award-winning producer Boi-1Da, producer Mega Man and R&B songstress Kim Davis. She appeared in the video for “We Gon Go” by international recording artist Kardinal Offishall and graced Universal France recording artist Junior Caldera with her mesmerizing vocals on his 2010 “Lights”.
