After dropping their debut album Core -A- Nation (below) the trio of JWyze, Eklipz & Kolor Brown aka Crown A’ Thornz connect again and revisit / pay homage to a hip-hop classic.
So this dude Neo Tempus has been on tha grind for a minute now. I remember hearing stuff from his group the Anime Boyz a few years back. “Fly As Hell” was close (I remember the production and hook being dope) but they just weren’t on the level yet as MCs. Also, never heard a finished mix / master. Either way, not sure if the group is still together but looks like Neo Tempus (who was the producer as well as one of the MCs) is giving the solo push an attempt. This joint’s called “Fly Away” (the intro to whatever his upcoming project is called).
Emerging new artist, Neo Tempus has just released the first official record off his upcoming debut project, which is also self produced. Giving fans a taste of his sound and who he is with the project’s intro “Fly Away”, the talented Neo Tempus provides a different sound to the hip hop world. He produces, raps, sings and mixes all his music personally, giving you nothing but himself and realness on every record.
Official viz for “Luxury Rap” off Rae’s Unexpected Victory tape. Shouts to the random Fisker car dealership commercial at the end too, lol. Googled that after tho…pretty sick actually.
“Side Wets” the latest from Vancouver, British Columbia producer REL!G!ON was inspired by long walks at the beach under a starry night while being caressed by a soft and gentle wind. REL!G!ON has been busy producing new music featuring Planet Asia, Rogue Venom, Jasiri X, Rhymefest, Brother Ali, Tristate and others.
It was a weekend full of networking, partying, appreciating each others hard work, and passion. I’m glad I was in Toronto for the Stylus 2012 and thankful The Come Up Show was nominated for college radio show of the year. Check out our coverage of the Pre Awards show @ Mod Club in Toronto. Featuring performances from Sonreal, Shi Wisdom, Magnum and much more.
