From notebooks to dance floors, headphones to the big speakers; The Names Are Known are Hip Hop in exploration, equal parts time capsule, and time machine, set on preserving the here and now, with the dial firmly set forward. With the release of their debut album “To The People Of The Future” expected in late 2013, The Names Are Known spent 2011 and early 2012 preparing and gaining new fans at their weekly event KNOWNSaturdays @ Czehoski (Toronto) and launching a new weekly – #KNOWNMONDAYS @ColdTeaBar (Toronto) in December 2012.
