In a career that spans almost 3 decades, Michie Mee is not only a trailblazer, but a true pioneer and mentor to many emerging artists across the country. Since the age of 14, she’s performed alongside many other music legends, including Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, KRS-One, Dream Warriors, and countless others. Her first album, Jamaican Funk: Canadian Style dropped in 1991, and her signature style of combining fiery delivery with her Jamaican roots has solidified her as one of Canada’s classic artists.
