Juice paying homage something kinda proper. Nice!

Hey Fam, I’ve just released a new song titled ‘Jason’s Lyric’. I made this song because I wanted to fill a VOID. Not just musically, but a void between man and woman. I listen to A LOT of new music and I noticed that there are more songs that are separating men and women Instead of unifying them.

I drew inspiration from Method Man and Mary J. Blige’s hit, You’re all I Need, and the 90s romantic movie drama Jason’s Lyric, starring Jada Pinkett Smith, woman who I feel defines the term ‘ride or die’.

It’s a tribute to that era and to the ‘ride-or-die’ theme that, I think, is an important part of urban culture. I’ve grown as an artist and as a human, I have a strong creative and personal appreciation for what it means to have a ‘ride or die’ partner.

Shout out to all Queens holding down their King, and all the Kings holding down their Queens. Take a listen, let me know what you think and I hope you share it with your ride-or-die.
