Our special guest this week is none other than Boi-1da. He is one of the most successful producers, grammy award winner, producer for Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Eminem, Rihanna’s work and of course Drizzy Drake. Last time I caught up with Boi-1da was in 2010 at the Battle of The Beat Makers.

Gawd damn man. Just the beginning of this has me rushing to go take in Part I first and then get right back to this one.

This is part two of Tona Tencreddi’s interview.

On this episode, he talks about his 3rd solo album that was just released: “Ivy League”. He shares why he feels he is at his peak form as an artist. We also go back to the legendary night at the Juno when he won Best Rap Recording of the year with Naturally Born Strangers. Even after all the success from that group, he answers why he doesn’t want to be in groups anymore.

Been trying to keep up with all The Come Up Show interviews / podcasts. Here they chop it up with that dude Tona, partially in celebration of his latest release, The Ivy League. Definitely looking forward to taking this one in. Shouts to the fam! Part II on the way too…

Today’s episode is unlike any other podcast episodes that we recorded so we had to split it into two parts. Tona Tencreddi, is one third of Naturally Born Strangers and in my opinion, one of the premiere artists our country has to offer. He tells us about his upbringing in becoming the artist that he is today which includes a deep history of Toronto rap culture.

We talk about his epic rap battle against Blake Carrington in Sauga, how one of his first big hits “Dial Tone” was made, what is it like working with Drake on the remix, and so much more.

Looking forward to taking this one in. Mr. Bare Tings chops it up with The Come Up Show.

My guest this week goes by the name of Devontée. I remember meeting him three years ago at the Canadian Music Week and told me to check his music. He was networking, grinding, and hustling. Today, he is one of the premiere Toronto artists with hits like “Bare Things” and an album “District Vibe” that has features like Joey Badass.

On this episode, Devontée talked about his faith, following your heart, what he learned from Boi-1da and so much more.
